Jesus Youth Full-Timer’s Father George Joseph Passes Away at 86

Parathode: George Joseph (86), popularly known as “Georgekutty Sir” of Paarathode, passed away. He was the father of *Jessy George Ramanattu, a member of the 10th batch of Jesus Youth Full-Timers who served in Kollam, and *Jomy George (UK), who is actively involved in the Jesus Youth ministry in Manchester, UK.

The funeral services will begin at his residence in Paarathode at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 16 June 2026, followed by burial in the family tomb at St. Mary’s Church, Podimattom. His mortal remains will be brought to his residence at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 15 June 2026.

George Joseph is survived by his wife, Marykutty George (retired teacher, Pazhumala School), and their children: Jomy George (UK), Jessy George Ramanattu (Moozhur), Joyce George (Area Sales Manager, URGO Medical), Jency George Mattathil (Lecturer, Devamatha College, Kuravilangad), and Josna George Koonammackal (Wipro).
