Ad Cor: Renewing the Heart of Jesus Youth USA

Over the past several months, Dr. Edward Edezhath has been visiting Jesus Youth communities across Phoenix, Houston, Baltimore, and Raleigh, fostering prayer, fellowship, and dialogue through the Ad Cor initiative.

Born from a desire to deepen understanding of the Jesus Youth USA charism, Ad Cor invites members to reflect on their calling and the gifts God has entrusted to them. Inspired by 1 Peter 4:10, participants have been encouraged to recognize both their personal gifts and the movement’s unique mission, growing closer to Christ and embracing God’s call to serve.

The initiative continues to inspire JYs across the country to rediscover their giftedness and come alive in their faith and mission.

Ad Cor — To the Heart of the Movement: An Update & Invitation

Over recent months, Dr. Edward Edezhath has been traveling to gather with JY communities across the country — Phoenix, Houston, Baltimore, and Raleigh — in spaces of prayer, fellowship, and dialogue.

Ad Cor emerged from a desire to draw us deeper into the heart and charism of Jesus Youth USA: Are we living what we profess? These visits have centered on discovering the gifts God has entrusted to us.

As Scripture reminds us, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another” (1 Peter 4:10). JYs have been challenged to recognize both the movement’s giftedness and their own—deepening our relationship with Christ and clarifying what God is calling us to be and to do.
