Assumption College Students Successfully Complete Internship at Kairos Media
Students of the B.A. English Literature (Honours) programme at Assumption College, Changanassery, successfully completed their internship at Kairos Media from 11 May 2026 to 27 May 2026. The participating students included Lekshmi G, Stanamol Shaji, Selima Elizabeth Poly, Teresa Mathew, Ashmi Sabu, Liya Treasa Antony, and Haripriya Varma V.
The internship programme provided participants with extensive practical exposure through a range of diverse responsibilities and assignments. Interns engaged in Malayalam and English content writing for magazines, conducted online and offline training sessions for children, interviewed senior jy to document their life experiences, and interacted with subscribers through telephone and direct communication to collect experiences and feedback.
As part of the programme, students also contributed to digital video content preparation, digital archiving activities, and sponsorship mobilisation initiatives. Daily activity reports were mandatory throughout the internship period, while each assignment was supervised and guided by professionals and experts in the respective fields.
The internship primarily focused on experiential learning and hands-on training rather than theoretical instruction, enabling students to strengthen professional competencies and gain meaningful exposure to real-world work environments.
According to programme coordinators, the students demonstrated sincere involvement and active participation in all assigned activities. Their dedication, responsibility, punctuality, discipline, and enthusiasm for learning and teamwork were appreciated throughout the programme.
The successful completion of the internship marks another significant step in preparing students for future academic pursuits and professional opportunities through industry-oriented learning experiences.
