Intercessory Prayer at Jesus Youth International Office Continues to Inspire Lives

The 24-hour Intercessory Prayer Ministry at the Jesus Youth International Office Chapel continues to be a place of grace and discernment for many who seek God’s will. Every week, several brothers and sisters commit themselves to spending one or more weeks in full-time intercessory prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.

Among the regular participants is Bala from Vijayawada, along with many others who periodically dedicate one to two weeks—or even longer—to this ministry of prayer. For many, these days of silence, adoration, and intercession have become a deeply transformative experience, bringing spiritual renewal and greater clarity in discerning God’s plan for their lives.

A recent testimony is that of Jibin Joy, a Jesus Youth member from Kottayam. After losing his job in Chennai, Jibin chose to spend nearly a month at the International Office Chapel, committing himself to full-time intercessory prayer as he sought God’s direction for the next chapter of his life. Throughout this period, he remained in the Lord’s presence with hope, trust, and perseverance.

On *23 July 2026, he unexpectedly received an interview call from a leading company in Ernakulam. Following the interview, he was offered a position as a *Billing Accountant. His experience stands as an encouraging testimony that God opens the right doors at the right time for those who place their trust in Him and patiently seek His will.

The Intercessory Prayer Ministry has become a blessed opportunity for many people who are discerning God’s call, searching for employment, or prayerfully considering their future after completing their studies. It offers a unique space to pause, pray, and entrust life’s important decisions to the Lord.

Those involved in the ministry believe that time spent before the Blessed Sacrament is never wasted. God, in His perfect timing, continues to guide His children toward the plans He has prepared for them and opens the opportunities best suited to their lives.

Anyone who wishes to commit one week or more to the 24-hour Intercessory Prayer Ministry at the Jesus Youth International Office Chapel is warmly invited to participate. The International Office provides accommodation and meals for those making this prayer commitment.
