Jesus Youth Couple Dr. Darlin and Family’s Service Through Living Life Trust Gains Attention Amid Kerala’s Focus on Elder Care

As the newly elected Kerala government moves toward establishing a dedicated department for senior citizens, the decision comes at a significant time, with older adults constituting more than 20 percent of Kerala’s population. The initiative reflects the increasing need for focused policies and support systems for the state’s ageing society.

In this context, a recent report aired by Asianet News highlighted the work of Living Life Trust, an organisation in Kozhikode (Calicut) engaged in activities supporting and caring for elderly people.

The organisation is led by Dr. Darlin, an active member of the Jesus Youth movement in Kozhikode. Through Living Life Trust, she has been involved in community-centered efforts aimed at improving the quality of life and care available for senior citizens.

Her husband Dr Joseph Sebastian has also been actively associated with Jesus Youth since his student days. Alongside his continued involvement in the movement, he is a regular contributor to Kairos Global and Kairos Buds, where he frequently writes on faith, social issues, and personal reflections.
