Jesus Youth India Concludes Resource Development Program 2025–2026
Nine-Day Formation Initiative Equips Young Leaders for Ministry and Communication
The Resource Development Program (RDP) 2025–2026, organised by Jesus Youth India, successfully concluded after a year-long journey aimed at nurturing and equipping young leaders and resource persons for effective ministry, communication and leadership. Designed as a comprehensive formation initiative, the program combined spiritual growth with practical skill development to prepare participants for impactful service in both ministry and professional settings.
The program was conducted in three phases, each comprising a three-day residential learning experience, amounting to a total of nine days of intensive stay-in formation. In addition to the residential sessions, participants engaged in mentoring processes, assignments, online gatherings, feedback sessions and accompaniment throughout the journey.
Holistic Formation Through Learning and Practical Experience
The initiative focused on holistic development by integrating spiritual formation with skill-based learning. Participants attended sessions covering communication and public speaking, listening and comprehension skills, leadership in ministry, reflective reading and writing, online communication etiquette, stage confidence and practical use of technology and artificial intelligence in ministry contexts.
Additional sessions explored time and finance management, teamwork, discipline and faith-based expression. Participants also gained hands-on experience through mock sessions, group discussions, debates, reflections and other practical learning exercises designed to build confidence and effectiveness.
Mentorship and Accompaniment at the Heart of the Journey
One of the defining strengths of the program was the accompaniment offered by mentors, facilitators, priests and volunteers, who closely journeyed with participants throughout the process. Their guidance provided encouragement, personal support and opportunities for growth beyond classroom learning.
Final Phase Held at Snehadaan Pastoral Centre
The concluding phase of the program was held at Snehadaan, Camillian Pastoral Centre and culminated in a Holy Mass followed by a thanksgiving gathering, marking the successful completion of the formation process.
Participants Witness Growth in Leadership and Spiritual Life
Participants shared that the program contributed significantly to their growth in confidence, communication and leadership. Beyond skill enhancement, the initiative also fostered spiritual rootedness, self-awareness, discipline, responsibility and collaborative leadership.
As the program concluded, it stood as a meaningful platform for forming resource persons who are called to communicate with clarity, conviction, humility and authenticity in both ministry and professional spaces.
