A Historic Milestone Ahead: Jesus Youth International Conference 2026 to Gather the Global Family in Rome

With immense joy and gratitude, we are delighted to share a grace-filled and historic moment in the journey of the Jesus Youth movement.
As part of the Ruby Jubilee celebrations marking 40 years of Jesus Youth and 10 years of Canonical Approval from the Holy See, the Jesus Youth International Conference 2026 will take place in Rome from 20–25 October 2026 at Centro Mariapoli.
This extraordinary gathering will unite nearly 1,000 delegates from across the world — including young people, families, priests, religious, bishops, and leaders who have journeyed with Jesus Youth through the years. Guided by the inspiring theme, “A Synodal Movement in Mission – Together on a New Path,” the Conference promises to be a powerful time of prayer, fellowship, discernment, renewal, celebration, and missionary commitment.
One of the most grace-filled and historic highlights of the Conference will be a Papal Audience with the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV. For the first time in its history, the Jesus Youth movement will receive a Papal Audience as a movement — a truly memorable milestone and a blessing for the entire Jesus Youth family worldwide.
Adding to the richness of the experience, participants will also have the opportunity to join special pre-WYD pilgrimage packages, offering a deeper spiritual and community journey before gathering in Rome.
Preparations and registrations are already moving forward enthusiastically across many countries, with growing excitement and participation from people eager to be part of this landmark event.
This Conference is more than a gathering; it is an invitation to reconnect with the global Jesus Youth family, deepen our communion with the Church, and renew our missionary calling for the future.
