Gospel by Hand: Crosses 100 Registrations from India including Hindi language; the Middle East, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, USA, Canada, and Australia
The ‘Gospel by Hand’ challenge, organised by Kairos Buds and the Jesus Youth National Family Stream, has crossed a significant milestone of over 100 registrations!
This challenge encourages children aged 9 to 15 to write the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) by Christmas as a heartfelt present for Baby Jesus. The participants range from across the globe, from India to the Middle East, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, the US, Canada, and Australia.
In this day and age, where faith takes a backseat and distractions dominate, this challenge helps improve focus and faith and inspires initiative. By writing just 15 verses a day, participants can complete their very own handwritten Gospel by Christmas.
The challenge goes beyond just writing the Gospels, with its bi-weekly Bible discussions, which will help participants better understand what they are writing. Thus, the participants are not merely writing; they are living the Gospels.
Children are welcome to write in any language they prefer or may choose to write just one Gospel instead of all four. Their progress is monitored once a month through a WhatsApp group and is published on the Kairos Media website; healthy competition and accountability let faith take centre stage.
Completed works will be reviewed by regional Jesus Youth leaders and bound locally, and the handwritten Gospels become cherished keepsakes, something the children can treasure for years to come.
Parents excitedly share their children’s eagerness to take part in the challenge and actively encourage their peers to join them on this life-changing journey, a true testament to what the grace of God and the organisers’ zeal can inspire.
The organisers welcome new registrations.
