Inspiring Young Minds: A Unique Challenge Encourages Children to Handwrite the Gospels
In a refreshing initiative aimed at nurturing faith, focus, and creativity among children, Kairos Buds & Jesus Youth National Family Stream has launched an inspiring program titled Gospel by Hand Designed for young participants aged 9 to 15, this initiative invites children to embark on a meaningful spiritual journey—by handwriting the four Gospels as a heartfelt gift.
At a time when distractions often dominate young minds, this challenge offers a powerful alternative. By writing just 15 verses a day, participants can complete their very own handwritten Gospel by Christmas—a deeply personal and rewarding achievement.
The program goes beyond writing. Children are guided through biweekly online meetings, helping them better understand the teachings they carefully put onto paper. The initiative encourages participants to write in any language they are comfortable with, making it inclusive and accessible.
To support the journey, organizers provide specially designed writing sheets and recommend tools like the BibleOn app for easy access to scripture. Progress is monitored monthly through a dedicated WhatsApp group, with updates shared on the Kairos Media platform—keeping motivation high and building a sense of community.
Each completed work is thoughtfully reviewed by regional Jesus Youth leaders, ensuring both accuracy and encouragement. Once finished, children are guided to bind their handwritten Gospel, transforming their effort into a cherished keepsake.
Organizers say the goal is simple yet profound: to help children not only write the Word, but also live it.
