PentaWalk Initiative Launched Ahead of Pentecost

As part of the 30-day spiritual preparation for Pentecost, the Jesus Youth movement has introduced PentaWalk – Walk with Jesus, a prayer initiative encouraging members to step offline, walk prayerfully, and reconnect with God.

Participants can engage in various forms such as family walks (#FamWalk), cell group walks (#CellWalk), personal prayer walks (#SoloWalk), pilgrimages to churches (#PilgrimWalk), or offering treks in prayer (#HikerWalk). Members are also invited to share their experiences through short videos or photos on social media to inspire others.

Alongside this, a global 24/7 chain rosary is being organized, with local prayer initiatives encouraged in each region. The preparation will culminate in a Pentecost Novena beginning on May 15.

The initiative calls on all members to journey together in prayer for personal renewal and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

The PentaWalk – Walk with Jesus

As part of this journey, we invite every Jesus Youth to take up a simple, personal initiative—The PentaWalk.
This is a call to step offline, walk prayerfully, and reconnect with God—allowing the Holy Spirit to realign our hearts.

You may choose to participate in any of the following ways:

  • #FamWalk – Walk and pray with your family
  • #CellWalk – Walk with your cell members
  • #SoloWalk – Take a personal prayer walk
  • #PilgrimWalk – Walk to a church or shrine with intentions
  • #HikerWalk – Offer a walk or trek as a sacrifice in prayer

Take a walk with your people—your gang, your cell, your family.
Step offline, pray, and reconnect.
Realign yourself this Pentecost.

As you participate, we encourage you to:

  • Capture a short video or selfie during your walk using
    https://ojes.us/walk
  • Share it as a story on social media
  • Tag the Jesus Youth International social media handles

Let your witness inspire others to join this journey of prayer and renewal.

“Christ accompanies us as we walk”

“Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.” (Gal 5:24–25)
