Br. Anthony Kunnumpurath to Be Ordained as Deacon

Br. Anthony Kunnumpurath, a Jesus Youth seminarian preparing for the priesthood, will be ordained to the diaconate on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. (EST) at Amoris Christi Chapel in Delray Beach, USA. The ordination will be officiated by Bishop Mar Joy Alappatt of the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Chicago, where he will be incardinated.

A medical doctor by profession, Br. Anthony completed his studies at Amala Medical College, Thrissur, and is also a member of the Kairos Global editorial team.

The ceremony will be live-streamed online, and the faithful are invited to keep him in their prayers as he takes this significant step toward the priesthood.
