Jesus Youth Family Ministry Announces ‘Acts 2:42’ Regional Summits Across Kerala

KERALA — The Jesus Youth Family Ministry has announced “Acts 2:42,” a series of major regional summits aimed at strengthening Christian family fellowship across Kerala.

Operating through small family groups known as Jesus Youth families across the state meet monthly to pray, share experiences, and grow spiritually together. To support these gatherings, tailored materials are published monthly for both adults and children. Currently, over 100 small groups are active across 23 zones, with approximately 50 new groups formed in recent months.

To bring these families together and extend this experience to newly married couples and families facing challenges, regional summits will be held across the state’s Malabar, Central, and Southern regions:

• Central Region (Ernakulam): August 27, 28, and 29
• Malabar Region (Kozhikode): September 3, 4, and 5
• Southern Region (Changanassery): October 1, 2, and 3
  The events, hosted at parish levels across 23 zones, aim to actively engage local parish communities. The summits will feature musical performances with participation from regional bishops and prominent artists, alongside home missions and outreach programs.

  In preparation, intercessory prayer journeys featuring blessed candles and crosses will tour all 23 zones, complemented by pilgrimages to major shrines across Kerala. The intercessory prayer campaign was officially launched on Pentecost Sunday with a logo unveiling and the ceremonial passing of lit candles to zonal small group leaders.
