Fr. George Karintholil Called to Eternal Rest

Fr. George Karintholil called to his heavenly home yesterday morning at 5:15 AM at Rajagiri Hospital. Despite his long and brave battle with advanced liver cirrhosis, which he had been combating since 2017, his passing was unexpected and has left the community in deep mourning.

Fr. George was a cherished priest known for his unwavering commitment to his faith and selfless service to the Church and its people. His dedication, compassion, and spiritual leadership touched the lives of many. His sudden departure marks a significant loss to the clergy and the wider Catholic community.

In a heartfelt message, Joseph Kaipayil, Provincial Superior, expressed his grief: “Let us keep our beloved departed in our prayers. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him!”
