Every Question Opens a Door to Mission

Over the past few days, I have received a few WhatsApp messages from people seeking clarification about requests sent by Kairos Media staff members for financial support towards our missionary activities.

Those messages made me genuinely happy for two reasons.

First, they reminded me of the commitment of our staff members. Even though many of their requests are declined, they continue to reach out with sincerity, patience, and hope because they believe in the mission of evangelization.

Second, I was encouraged that people chose to ask questions instead of simply ignoring the requests. Every question gives us an opportunity to explain what Kairos Media is all about. Very often, once people understand the vision and the impact of this ministry, they willingly become part of it.

Kairos Media publishes four magazines every month, is actively present across multiple social media platforms, and publishes books and other faith formation resources. Together, these ministries require around ₹6.5 lakh every month to sustain.

At the same time, we are strongly convinced that the Lord is leading us into the world of video ministry. Every sign points to the need for quality Catholic video content. Stepping into this area will require an additional ₹1.5 lakh per month.

People who know Kairos are also aware of something else. We do not carry commercial advertisements in our magazines. We believe the message we share should remain free from commercial influence. At the same time, it is a reality that no publication today survives on subscriptions alone. A missionary media ministry like ours can continue only because generous people choose to stand with us.

One thing, however, is non-negotiable. We never compromise on quality—whether it is the content, design, printing, or production. When we offer something to the Lord, we believe it should be our very best.

Kairos continues to survive because of what the Gospel calls the widow’s mite. Hundreds of friends faithfully contribute ₹500 or ₹1,000 every month. Some continue their support even after losing their jobs.

Every contribution brings an SMS alert to my phone. Whenever I read those messages, I am deeply humbled. Behind each notification is a person who quietly believes in this mission. No one else may know about their sacrifice. It is known only to them and to the Lord. They seek no recognition, no publicity, and no appreciation. They simply desire that more people encounter Jesus.

If this mission resonates with your heart, I warmly invite you to become a Friend of Kairos. Just send me a WhatsApp message, and I will connect you with our Kairos office team.

If you ever have a question about Kairos Media or our ministry, please don’t hesitate to write to me. I will be happy to clarify.

The only return we can promise is something money cannot buy—the joy of sharing in the mission of proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Please remember Kairos Media in your prayers. And if the Lord inspires you, walk with us in this mission.
