Bishop Wilbert Marwein Encourages Participants at National Leaders Learning Program

The National Leaders Learning Program, which concludes on 12 July 2026, was blessed by the visit of *Most Rev. Wilbert Marwein, Bishop of the Diocese of Nongstoin, Meghalaya. During his visit, the bishop shared a powerful message of encouragement, inspiring the participants in their journey of faith and leadership.

The bishop was warmly welcomed and introduced by Banshem, the present Meghalaya Jesus Youth Coordinator and one of his former parishioners. His fatherly warmth and genuine love as a shepherd were deeply felt by everyone present.

As a token of appreciation, Bishop Marwein was presented with a copy of the Kairos magazine. Expressing his joy, he said that he was happy to see the growth and mission of Jesus Youth.

Although the bishop had originally planned to attend the commissioning ceremony of the participants’ but, an unexpected engagement required him to advance his visit. His decision to visit earlier rather than cancel his visit was greatly appreciated and served as a source of encouragement to all the participants.
