Christmas Sparks Day 25 The Christmas of Sharing

God, the Father, shared His Son with us, revealing His immense love. The Son, in turn, shared Himself with us, demonstrating that love. As children of God, we too have the responsibility to experience and share this divine love.

Each Christmas is a reminder of this sharing. Like Jesus who shared Himself, we too should be able to live for others.The famous philosopher Bonhoeffer says this about Jesus, ‘He was a man for the other.’ We should be able to live for others like Christ and give ourselves for them. Let us follow the example of Jesus who sacrificed Himself for us on the cross of Calvary. Let every Christmas be an opportunity for that.

In the past, God spoke to our ancestors through prophets at various times and in different ways, but in these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son (Hebrews 1:1-2).

On this occasion of commemorating the birth of that Son, I extend my warmest Christmas wishes to all the readers of Kairos.
