Kairos Media Conclave 2026 Set to Convene at Karukutty; Key Church Leaders and Media Experts to Attend

KARUKUTTY — The Kairos Media Conclave 2026 is scheduled to take place at Assisi Shanti Kendra, Karukutty, bringing together approximately 100 key collaborators and media personnel associated with the Jesus Youth and Kairos Media missions.

The day-long conclave will be graced by Bishop Alex Vadakkumthala, Bishop of Kannur and Ecclesiastical Advisor to Jesus Youth International. In a significant addition to the lineup, Fr. Dr. Biju Alappatt, Secretary to the CBCI Commission for Social Communication, will also participate in the gathering. Regional, national, and international coordinators of the Jesus Youth movement are slated to attend the sessions.

A major highlight of the afternoon itinerary is the “Media Next” symposium, which will feature insights from prominent media and creative professionals, including Tena Conil, Jacob Jose, Leo Thaddeus, and Shelton Pinheiro. The convention aims to serve as a strategic platform for deliberations on the contemporary media landscape, pastoral communication, and future digital initiatives.
