Steubenville Youth Conference at Franciscan University

In July, 56 highschoolers from Virginia and New Jersey attended the Steubenville Youth Conference at Franciscan University . It was a beautiful moment to discover our worthiness before God and realize that there’s nothing that we can do to earn or deserve our worthiness, our dignity or God‘s love.

This was the second year we sent a highschooler to participate in LEAD (a Steubenville leadership program), and both years our LEAD participant was chosen to share their testimony in front of 2,000 peers during the conference.

As Pope Leo announced, this is the jubilee year of Saint Francis, commemorating his 800 year death anniversary. Since we were at a Franciscan church, many of the participants were able to receive an indulgence to celebrate this jubilee. What a joyful blessing!! Please pray for our Steubenville participants.
