As we continue our journey through the Jesus Youth US Jubilee Year and prepare to move UpStream, Pope Leo XIV, in his prayer intention for the month of August, invites us to reflect on the life of the city—its diversity, its opportunities, and the many people searching for meaning and hope.

The Holy Father reminds us that the Lord accompanies us, often quietly and silently, even in the midst of busy city life. Let us pray especially for those who feel isolated or have grown apathetic, that through simple gestures of kindness in our workplaces, during our daily commutes, and in our neighborhoods, we may become visible signs of God’s love. As Jesus Youth, may we continue to build communities that are welcoming and open to our brothers and sisters.
