Kattappana’s Manoj C C, Jesus Youth Family Missionary in Mangalore, Shares Inspiring Story of Faith and Survival
Kattappana: Manoj C C, a native of Kattappana zone and a long-time member of Jesus Youth, has shared a moving testimony of how faith in God helped him overcome repeated financial, natural, and health crises in life. Currently serving as a Jesus Youth family missionary in Mangalore, Manoj spoke openly about the struggles that tested his endurance over the years.
According to Manoj, the turning point began in 2017 when he decided to purchase a piece of land to secure water access for his cardamom plantation. Despite not having the money required for the purchase, he moved forward in faith. The landowner initially demanded ₹24 lakh, but with the support of a friend and strong trust in God, the deal was completed.
However, soon after the purchase, devastating floods in 2018 and 2019 destroyed his cardamom plantation almost completely. The losses pushed him into severe debt and uncertainty.
In 2019, Manoj started a fertilizer and pesticide business, which quickly grew into a successful venture. But the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown in 2020 caused another major setback, bringing the business to a standstill.
The challenges continued when both Manoj and his wife contracted COVID-19 and suffered serious health complications, including pneumonia. At the same time, fungal disease affected the plantation, adding further financial pressure.
Despite facing continuous hardships, Manoj says he never lost hope. Drawing strength from his faith and years of involvement in Jesus Youth ministry, he continued to move forward with prayer and perseverance.
Manoj C C, who hails from Kattappana zone, has been actively involved in Jesus Youth at various levels for many years and is now serving as a family missionary in Mangalore. His testimony is being seen as an inspiring witness of resilience, faith, and determination amid life’s toughest challenges.
