CHOSEN’25: 118 Young Lives Touched by Christ in Kanjirappally

Kanjirappally: The Jesus Youth movement in Kanjirappally witnessed a powerful outpouring of grace during CHOSEN’25, a youth retreat held from May 22nd to 25th, 2025. The four-day event brought together 118 young participants who experienced a profound encounter with Jesus through prayer, fellowship, and spiritual guidance.

The retreat was made possible through the selfless service of over 50 volunteers, who dedicated their time and energy to ensure a meaningful and grace-filled experience for all. The event was marked by vibrant worship, inspiring sessions, and moments of deep personal reflection.

Rooted in the theme drawn from John 15:16 — “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit” — the retreat emphasized the call to remain in Christ and bear witness to His love.

Jesus Youth Kanjirappally expressed heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported the retreat through prayer, presence, and encouragement. As the participants return to their daily lives, the community continues to pray that these young hearts remain steadfast in their faith and mission.
