KANAL’25 Ignites the Fire of Mission Among Campus Youth in Kannur

KANNUR, Kerala – With the theme rooted in Hebrews 12:29 — “For our God is a consuming fire” — KANAL’25, an overnight campus meet organized by the Jesus Youth Kannur Campus Ministry, proved to be a profound spiritual encounter for young people across the region.

Held with deep reverence and youthful energy, the event brought together college students from various institutions in Kannur, uniting them in praise, worship, Word-based reflections, and moments of powerful spiritual renewal. From the very first session of praise and worship to the concluding blessing, participants witnessed the tangible move of the Holy Spirit.

The gathering featured anointed talks, Eucharistic adoration, the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, and moments of silent prayer, which stirred hearts and rekindled missionary zeal among the attendees. Participants described the event as a life-changing experience that renewed their commitment to be the light of Christ on their campuses.

The organizers expressed profound gratitude to God for His providential guidance throughout the event. They also acknowledged the tireless efforts of volunteers, the silent contributors behind the scenes, the zonal team, elders, various ministries, college authorities, priests, and all those who extended support through prayer, space, wisdom, and financial assistance.

Special appreciation was extended to Kerala CCT, MEST, and TASC, whose presence and encouragement greatly enriched the event. The intercessory support and hidden sacrifices of many were also recognized as the unseen foundation that upheld the mission.
