The Basic Catholic Prayers – Audio & Video from Kairos Media
As part of our Lenten spiritual renewal efforts, we are launching a special initiative aimed at revisiting and deepening our understanding of basic Catholic prayers and teachings. Many Catholics learn foundational prayers during childhood, especially in preparation for First Holy Communion around the ages of nine or ten. Over time, however, familiarity with these prayers and core teachings may gradually fade, with only a few remaining firmly remembered.
Recognizing this need, we are offering an opportunity for both adults and children to reconnect with these essential prayers and doctrines of the Church. This initiative consists of a series of audio recordings accompanied by related videos, designed to be spiritually enriching for families, seniors, and young learners alike.
In total, 33 files have been prepared, covering Basic Prayers and key elements of Catholic Living and Doctrines. During the seven weeks of Lent, one prayer or teaching will be released each weekday (Monday through Friday) via our Instagram page. On the final day of the series, all 33 recordings will be compiled and made available as a single consolidated file for easy access and reference.
At present, the content has been prepared in English. Efforts are underway to make these resources available in Malayalam and Hindi in the near future, enabling a wider audience to benefit from them.
We warmly welcome feedback from participants and encourage families to share how they are incorporating these prayers and teachings into their daily spiritual life.
We pray that this initiative will help all participants experience a fruitful Lenten season, growing closer to Jesus through prayer, reflection, and faithful living.
