Paravur Native Joseph George Returns to Indian Super League Broadcast Team
Paravur: As the new season of the Indian Super League resumes amid recent controversies, Paravur native Joseph George has once again joined the league’s broadcast team as a commentator.
A former footballer who grew up playing the sport in Paravur, Joseph George was among the first players of the Paravur City Soccer Club. Although he later transitioned into the computer software field, his long-standing passion for football led him into sports broadcasting.
Joseph began his career in sports broadcasting in 2014 as the first statistician of the Indian Super League. Over the years, he has steadily progressed through key production roles, serving last season as a World Feed Producer. This season, he has also taken on responsibilities as a Producer for the *Kerala Super League. His professional experience includes work with major broadcasters such as **Star Sports, **Sony Sports, and *JioCinema.
Joseph George is the second son of Prof. V. M. George and *Prof. Lucy George, noted Jesus Youth senior leaders and animators, and residents of Vettuvazhi House near the *Paravur Kottakkavu Church. He is currently based in Mumbai.
With his return to the ISL broadcast panel, Joseph George continues to represent Paravur on a national sporting platform, blending grassroots football experience with professional broadcast expertise.
