Jesus Youth Singapore Jubilee Sports Day Brings Youth and Families Together

Singapore, 29 August 2026 —The spirit of joy, fellowship, and healthy competition came alive at the Jesus Youth Singapore Jubilee Sports Day, held at Holy Innocents’ High School in Hougang on 29 August 2026. Bringing together youth and families from across the community, the day was filled with energy, laughter, and enthusiastic participation from morning until evening. As part of the celebrations marking the Jubilee year of Jesus Youth Singapore, participants were divided into four teams, creating a lively atmosphere of friendly competition and team spirit.

The teams competed in a variety of sporting activities, including football, badminton, tug-of-war, and basketball throws. Fun games were also organized for children, ensuring that participants of all ages had an opportunity to take part. Beyond the sporting activities, the event provided a valuable opportunity for members of the Jesus Youth community to come together outside their usual prayer meetings and programs. The day fostered friendship, teamwork, and fellowship, with participants encouraging one another both on and off the field.

A special highlight of the day was the opening of registrations for Gracia, the Jubilee conference, giving participants an opportunity to look forward to another major celebration in the Jubilee year. The conference registration was launched at the Sports Day venue, connecting the celebration of the Jubilee with the wider mission and activities of Jesus Youth Singapore. The event was coordinated by General Coordinator Gresh Sebastian, together with a team of volunteers who worked behind the scenes to organize the various sporting activities and logistics.

The Jubilee Sports Day concluded as more than just a day of games and competition; it became a celebration of community, friendship, and the joy of being part of the Jesus Youth family. As the Jubilee year continues, the event stands as a reminder that faith and fellowship can be celebrated not only through prayer and service, but also through simple moments of joy shared together.
