Jesus Youth MaDsters Carry Mission of Love to Ecuador

From July 21 to 28, a team of 14 young people from Jesus Youth MaDsters travelled to Ecuador for a mission experience, serving communities in Limones, Río Verde, and Quito alongside the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales.

The MaDsters conducted Vacation Bible School activities and catechism sessions, shared testimonies, and led praise and worship for children and young people. The mission became a heartfelt journey of encounter, self-gift, and love.

Reflecting on the experience, one participant shared, “Our hearts were stretched each day.” The team encountered a love that was free, unconditional, and without expectations—receiving it both through the Eucharist and through the people they met. “We left a bit of our hearts here and are leaving with a bit of theirs,” the participant said.

The MaDsters give thanks to the Lord for transforming hearts and making them new through this mission experience.
