Mission Nurse Project Opens Registration for 15th Batch, Invites Nurses to Serve with Faith and Skill

Aluva, Kerala:
Registration has opened for the 15th batch of the Mission Nurse Project, a one-year formation and service initiative aimed at nurses and newly graduated medical professionals who wish to integrate their professional calling with faith-based mission.

Inspired by the biblical call, “Here am I. Send me” (Isaiah 6:8), the Mission Nurse Project focuses on nurturing both professional competence and spiritual growth. The program is designed for working nurses as well as fresh graduates who seek to serve with compassion, commitment, and a deepened spiritual life.

The journey begins with a 15-day residential training program scheduled from 2 March to 15 March 2026 at Atmadarshan, Aluva. The training will be conducted by the National Nurses team, under the guidance and support of Jesus Youth India. The residential program combines spiritual retreat elements such as worship and reflection with practical skill-development sessions, preparing participants for both professional responsibilities and ministerial service.

Following the training, participants will be placed in hospitals across India. In addition to their regular nursing duties, they will take part in ministerial activities including organizing prayer gatherings, fostering fellowship among colleagues and students, and offering quiet witness through their presence and service in the workplace.

Now entering its 15th year, the Mission Nurse Project has formed a growing network of healthcare professionals committed to serving with what organizers describe as “skilled hands and surrendered hearts.” As preparations begin for the new batch, supporters are encouraged to keep the participants and the mission in prayer as they prepare to serve in diverse settings.
