Then how are all these things happening?

Recently, one of the national-level Jesus Youth leaders asked me, “Weren’t you a full-timer?” I was a little surprised. I always thought he knew me better. Later I realized that after my retirement from my previous college, he had assumed that I had become a full-time worker, simply because of the sheer number of initiatives happening through Kairos.

When I told him that I was never a full-timer, he was amazed. “Then how are all these things happening?” he asked.

And truly, the list itself sounds unbelievable.

Every month, four magazines are published. Around 7–8 lakhs are needed every month. There is Kairos Studio on YouTube, Kairos News on WhatsApp, a strong presence across all social media platforms, the Little Hearts program in Shalom, more than 30 books published, the Advent Calendar, Holy Habits, the Mission Window country poster series, CMA Awards, occasional webinars, legal formalities Intercession meetings and countless supporting WhatsApp groups. The activities connected with Kairos are simply innumerable.

Yes, we do have a few full-time staff who multitask heroically. But the real wonder lies elsewhere.

Behind all this stand hundreds of people from different parts of the world, giving their time, talent, and heart to this mission.

Take, for instance, a lady from Kanjirappally. She is a mother of two and a full-time staff member in a new-generation college, where responsibilities are endless. Yet, she coordinates all the art-related work of Kairos Buds, including the cartoons. Her name is rarely mentioned. She never seeks the limelight. But without her, much of what children enjoy today would not exist.

There is a software engineer from Bangalore who manages the entire Cloud Catholic App, alongside his demanding professional life. When one of his fellow developers supported the project for a long time, he himself mobilized funds and paid the person on behalf of Kairos, not wanting financial limitations to stop God’s work.

There is a homemaker who faithfully sends out hundreds of emails every month to various groups. Even many insiders at Kairos may not know that she is the one quietly ensuring communication flows.

There is an IT professional with a high-profile job who somehow makes himself available for every technical need, every urgent request, every crisis.

There is a businesswoman, a mother of five, who insists that there should be no compromise in quality—whether in videos, designs, or posters. Often, she spends more time for Kairos than for her own business.

And then there are hundreds who support this mission financially. One of the pioneer phone numbers linked to the Kairos bank account is mine. When someone transfers ₹500 or ₹1000, the SMS alert comes to me. Every such message humbles me deeply. It speaks of trust, sacrifice, and faith. I silently thank God for each of them.

The Kairos Board, consisting of 15 busy professionals, meets every week. Each of them spends at least 50 hours a year just for these meetings, (and much more on Kairos work) offering their wisdom and time for the Kingdom.

All this makes one thing abundantly clear:

Kairos is not the work of a few full-timers.

Kairos is a miracle of God, made visible through hundreds of ordinary people with extraordinary commitment.
People who do not seek recognition on earth, but only a reward in heaven.
People who prove, by their silent sacrifices, that when God calls, He also gathers hearts—willing, generous, and burning with love for His mission.

Indeed, Kairos stands as a living testimony that when many small “yeses” come together, God creates something far bigger than anyone could ever imagine.
