“‘For My Friend’ Initiative Relaunched by JY Teens Pala to Support Needy Students”
PALA: The Jesus Youth Teens Ministry Pala has officially relaunched its annual charitable initiative titled “For My Friend”, aimed at supporting underprivileged students as they begin a new academic year.
Rooted in the spirit of the Gospel verse from Luke 6:38 — “Give, and it will be given to you…” — the initiative reflects the ministry’s ongoing commitment to serving the poor and promoting acts of compassion among young people.
Through “For My Friend,” the ministry invites generous individuals to sponsor essential school supplies for children in need. The items and their respective sponsorship values are as follows:
School Bag – ₹900
Uniform – ₹900
Umbrella – ₹500
Set of Books – ₹400
The initiative has already received a warm response from the Jesus Youth community and beyond. Organizers say the support of well-wishers—both in prayer and financial contributions—is crucial to ensuring no child is left behind due to lack of resources.
