A Week of Prayer and Fellowship: Jesus Youth Updates from Assam
The Jesus Youth community in Assam experienced a powerful week of prayer and fellowship, marked by a series of spiritually enriching events that brought young people together in devotion and worship.
On Friday, 12 members from the Guwahati Zone gathered for their monthly Eucharistic Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. This intimate time of prayer strengthened their faith and deepened their connection with one another.
On Saturday night, the Bongaigaon Jesus Youth hosted their first-ever night vigil, with over 50 young participants from across the Bongaigaon Diocese. Led by Fr. Nicodim, Sr. Soumya, and Benedict, the event offered a night of intense prayer and worship, leaving a lasting spiritual impact on the youth.
The week concluded on Sunday with a meeting between Jesus Youth leaders and key Salesian figures, Fr. Patric Leptcha and Fr. Sebastian Mathew, to discuss the growing presence of Jesus Youth in Assam and their devotion to the Holy Eucharist.
As the Jesus Youth prepare for their Third Sunday meeting this weekend, they invite prayers for the continued success of their mission and spiritual growth in the region.
