Jesus Youth Oman Silver Jubilee Charity Project Completes 12 Homes for Needy Families

Oman/Kerala: The Divine Mercy Home initiative, launched during the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy (2015–2016) proclaimed by Pope Francis, has reached a significant milestone with the successful completion of 12 houses for families in need.

The latest achievement comes as part of the *Jesus Youth Oman Silver Jubilee Charity Project, implemented in collaboration with *Jesus Youth Sohar and Mercy Home. Organizers expressed gratitude for the generous support, prayers, and encouragement received throughout the project.

Inspired by the Church’s call to practice the spiritual and corporal works of mercy, the initiative was undertaken by members of the Jesus Youth movement and their friends to provide safe and dignified housing for vulnerable families. Through the project, twelve families have been able to move from inadequate living conditions into secure, permanent homes.

Of the 12 houses completed, nine were fully funded through direct sponsorships from benefactors, while three were constructed through collaborative partnerships with local groups and community supporters. The entire initiative was sustained through voluntary contributions from Jesus Youth members, friends, and well-wishers.

Beyond providing shelter, the project has strengthened community spirit, fostered collaboration, and demonstrated the transformative impact of faith-driven service.

The Divine Mercy Home Project Committee thanked all donors, volunteers, and prayer partners whose sacrifices made the initiative possible. They noted that while the Jubilee Year of Mercy has concluded, the mission of serving those in need continues.

The successful completion of the Jesus Youth Oman Silver Jubilee Charity Project stands as a testimony to God’s providence and the power of a united community working together to build not just houses, but homes filled with hope and dignity.
