Vatican City — Pope Francis sustained a bruise on his right forearm following a fall at Santa Marta, the Holy See Press Office announced on Thursday. While medical evaluations confirmed there were no fractures, his arm has been immobilized as a precautionary measure.
Despite the mishap, the 87-year-old Pontiff remained undeterred, continuing his official schedule. Among his engagements was a meeting with Nosipho Nausca-Jean Jezile, Chair of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS), underscoring his commitment to addressing global issues.
