Christmas Sparks Day 03 Let Us become Places of Worship

Yet another Christmas is soon arriving. It is my desire, this time, to prepare and welcome Jesus better than in the past. For didn’t Jesus leave heaven and come to us as a baby out of His great love for us.

As a child, my parents taught me that Jesus would only enter our hearts if we were pure and holy. But no matter how hard I tried, those twenty-five days have never gone by without some mischief from my part. And I ended up thinking that Jesus would never come into me

Years later, I read this line, ‘When Jesus was born in a stable full of dirt, it became a temple.’ O Lord, there is a lot of dirt in me, still, if You are born within me, my heart will truly become a temple.

And I realised something. If by our own ability, our preparations fail our expectations, we need not worry. Jesus values our every little effort, and He will come into our hearts.

So let’s prepare a sanctuary in our souls this Christmas.
