Youth Retreat ‘Chosen – The Special Call’ Inaugurated with Spirit-filled Joy

Kottayam, May , 2025: ‘Chosen – The Special Call’, a five-day retreat for teenagers from classes 8 to 12, was officially inaugurated on 22nd May 2025 by Rev. Fr. Joseph Vellamattam. The event commenced with a solemn prayer service, invoking the presence of the Holy Spirit upon the participants and organizers.

The retreat has drawn 118 enthusiastic young participants, supported by a committed team of 40 volunteers, all united in purpose—to lead each soul toward a deeper encounter with Christ.

Organizers invite the faithful to uphold the retreat in prayer, interceding that every heart may be touched and transformed through a personal experience of God’s love.
