Global Jesus Youth Community Unites in Prayer for Pope Francis

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Peace in Christ!

As members of the Jesus Youth movement, let us continue to hold the Church and the soul of Pope Francis in our prayers during this time of transition. Across many local dioceses, remembrance Masses and special prayer gatherings are being organized to honor his life and legacy.

We encourage you to actively participate in these moments of prayer and remembrance wherever they are taking place. If no such initiative has been arranged in your area, we kindly invite you to take the lead in organizing a simple gathering — whether in person or online — to bring the community together in prayer.

We would also like to inform you that from the Jesus Youth International Office, a special Holy Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 25th April at 12 PM IST in the Jesus Youth Office Chapel. This Mass will be livestreamed, and we warmly invite you to join us online or in spirit.

Following the Mass, we will enter into three hours of perpetual adoration until 4:00 PM IST, remembering the Holy Father with deep love and reverence. This time of Eucharistic Adoration may also be livestreamed, allowing those in different parts of the world to unite with us in prayer.

We encourage each National or Regional Council to consider taking up similar initiatives locally, adapted to the needs and context of your area. Let us make every effort to be together in prayer, love, and gratitude for our Church.
